In Durnbach War Cemetery is the Commonwealth War Grave of 1567899 Flight Sergeant John Wilson Milburn, serving with the Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve,who died 28/01/1945.

Simon Glancey has submitted the following:

F/Sgt. Milburn was killed when Avro Lancaster III PB638 P4-O of 153 Squadron was lost on a mission to Stuttgart. The Lancaster crashed at Muchelbach, about 12 miles south east of Heidelberg, with the loss of all seven crew members.
