In Brie British Cemetery, The Somme France is the Commonwealth War Grave of Lance Corporal John Douglas Robertson, serving with the King's Own Yorkshire Light Infantry who died 30/08/1918.

In St.Giles's Churchyard at Corsenside is a family headstone for Robertson which includes:

Their son
Douglas Robertson
killed on the Somme
Aug. 1918 aged 18 years.

He is remembered at West Woodburn on W37.01 at Bellingham on B18.10 and B18.13
