In Corbridge Cemetery is a family headstone for Heslop which reads

In affectionate remembrance
of
Elizabeth Jane,
the beloved wife of
Edward Heslop, who died
at Corbridge, January 16. 1884;
aged 29 years.
Also of Christopher Atkinson
son of Edward & Jane Eleanor Heslop
who died Nov. 2nd 1896
aged 4 months.
Also of the above
Edward Heslop
who died November 3rd 1904
aged 50 years.
Also of Edward Dinning Heslop
son of the above,
8th N.F. killed at Sulva Bay,
August 19th 1915, aged 23 years.
Also Jane Eleanor, wife of
the above Edward Heslop,
died 21st Feb. 1949 aged 93 years.
