Ellis, F.B., Capt., 1916

In Adanac Military Cemetery, Miraumont, France, is the Commonwealth War Grave of Captain Francis Bevis Ellis, serving with the 10th Battalion Northumberland Fusiliers who died 26/09/1916.

Son of the Hon. and Rev. William Charles and Henrietta Elizabeth Ellis, of Bothalhaugh, Morpeth, Northumberland. A Musician.

When the memorial at Bothal was erected, it was Capt. Ellis's father who planted the two trees on either side.

Francis Bevis Ellis is remembered at Bothal on B48.01 and B48.02
