Hepple, J.R., Pte., 1916
In Warloy-Baillon Communal Cemetery Extension is the Commonwealth War Grave of 16/1714 Private John Robert Hepple, serving with the Northumberland Fusiliers who died 13/07/1916.

Margaret Allison reports that he was born at Woodhorn and was aged 23 when he died.

He is remembered in Ashington on A17.43 and in the Battalion History page 176
