In Lancashire Landing Cemetery is the Commonwealth War Grave of 6340 Private R. Halcrow, serving with the Northumberland Fusiliers who died 11/08/1915.

Margaret Allison says that in 1911 he was living at Guide Post. He was aged 37 when he died.

Soldiers Died in the Great War states that Robert Halcrow was born in South Shields and enlisted in Morpeth.

He is remembered in Ashington on A17.43
