In St. Mary’s Burial Ground is a headstone which reads:

To the memory of
Orderly Room Sergeant
George Pearson
7th Battalion
The Northumberland Fusiliers
1912-1921
who died on 19th December 1921

This stone has been erected by
the Officers of the Battalion
past and present.

He is remembered in Wooler on W68.02

There is no CWGC entry for Sgt. Pearson
