Robson, H.E., Pte., 1917

In Felton Cemetery is a family headstone for Robson which reads:

In loving memory of
Hugh Melrose
beloved husband of Annie Robson
who died at West Howdens July 7 1931
aged 70 years.
Also of Hugh Ernest, their beloved son,
fell in action at Fenchy, near Arras,
April 12 1917, aged 24 years.
Also the above Annie Robson
died 12th May 1965 aged 94 years.

Nearer my God to Thee.
