In Embleton (Spitalford) Cemetery is the Commonwealth War Grave with a private headstone of 15949/DA Deck Hand William Wright, serving with the Royal Naval Reserve who died 14/10/1918.

The family headstone reads:

Lily Eveline,
youngest and dearly beloved
daughter of
Alexander & Lucy Wright,
who died Dec. 26, 1917, aged 15 years.
Also William their son, and beloved
husband of Ursula G. Wright,
Deck Hand, H.M.S. Harvest Moon,
who died Oct. 14, 1918, aged 30 years.
Also C.G.E. Wright, their son,
2nd Hand H.M.T. Eccleshill,
who died Oct. 20. 1918, aged 20 years,
interred at the Naval Cemetery, Gosport.
Also of Lucy, beloved wife of
Alexander Wright
of Newton-by-the Sea
who died April 1, 1933, aged 67 years.
Also of the above
Alexander Wright
who died Aug.17. 1934, aged 67 years.
