Stoker 2nd Class, R.N., K/49646
H.M.S. "Argonaut"
17th June 1918.

Albert was the 2nd son of George Storey, North Riding, Elsdon, Otterburn, Northumberland, born on the 10th June 1898, at Elsdon, and his wife Hannah, daughter of the late Ralph Ord, of Woodburn.

Albert was educated at Elsdon School. He was employed as a putter.

He joined the Navy on the 20th February 1918, but died at Haslar Hospital at Gosport on the 17th June 1918, from pneumonia contracted while on Naval Service.

He was buried at Seaton Hirst, Ashington, Northumberland. He was unmarried.

"Argonaut", was an accommodation ship, ex-cruiser.
