He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. William Davis, of 33, Wellwood Street, Amble.

Morpeth Herald 04/01/1918 carries a brief obituary:

Mr and Mrs Wm. Davis, of Amble, have received official news that their son, Lance-Corporal Thomas Davis, King’s Royal Rifles, is reported missing from May 3rd last.

He is remembered in Amble on A13.01 and A13.07
