In LeTouquet-Paris Plage Communal Cemetery is the Commonwealth War Grave of 1452 Private Charles Patterson McCloud, serving with the Northumberland Fusiliers who died 14/02/1916.

In Amble East Cemetery is a family headstone which reads:

July 27th 1901 aged 57 years

who died at Chevington Drift

Charles Patterson
McCloud
who died from wounds received
in action in France
Feb. 14th 1916, aged 22 years
He obeyed his country’s call.
