In Boulogne Eastern Cemetery, Pas de Calais, France, is the Commonwealth War Grave of 10519 Private Hubert Humphrys serving with the 8th Battalion Royal Fusliers who died 19/12/1916.

In Gateshead Fell St. John's Churchyard is a family headstone which reads:-

died of wounds at Boulogne
December 19th 1916
in his 19th year
