In Newburn (Lemington) Cemetery is the Commonwealth War Grave with a private headstone of 2nd Lieutenant William Perry serving with the Northumberland Fusiliers, who died 30/03/1918.

The headstone reads:

The soul of
Margaret
beloved wife of
William Rodham
who died May 13th 1916,
aged 54 years,
also William their only son
killed in action, March 30th 1918,
at Villiers Bretonneux, France,
aged 28 years,
also their son-in-law
William Perry,
2nd Lieut. N.F. 1914-1919
beloved husband of
Margaret Perry
who died August 24th 1920,
aged 27 years,
also William Rodham
who died August 2nd 1924,
aged 62 years
and Mary
their youngest daughter,
died Feb. 25th 1929,
aged 25 years.
R.I.P.

William was born at Cockermouth, Cumberland in the fourth quarter of 1893, the son of John and Mary Perry (nee Cape). He married Margaret (nee Rodham) in the second quarter of 1918, where they lived at 29 Store Street, Lemington.
