Hills, K.I., Sub.Lt.,, 1942
In Escoublac-la-Baule War Cemetery is the Commonwealth War Grave of Sub Lieutenant Kenneth Ian Hills, serving with the Royal Naval Volunteer Reserve who died 28/03/1942.

He is named in the Scout Royal of Honour 1939-45 as having attended the 1st Tyne Sea Scouts Group. He was killed in a commando raid on St. Nazaire.

Kenneth Ian Hills is remembered in Newcastle on NUT145 page 15 NUT205 page 8 and in Sugley on S59.02
