Mr. M. McGrath, of 53 Howard Street, Newcastle, who served as a sergeant in the 10th Army Auxiliary Horse Transport Company, R.A.S.C., has just received a certificate from the King for gallant and distinguished services in the field, having been mentioned in despatches by Field Marshall Sir Douglas Haig.
