In Etaples Military Cemetery is the Commonwealth War Grave of Lieutenant George Buchanan Leslie, serving with the Royal Air Force who died 28/10/1918.

In Newcastle upon Tyne (St.Nicholas) Cemetery the headstone reads:

Sapper James Leslie RND
died Aug. 27. 1917 aged 22 years
also
Lieut. George B. Leslie R.A.F.
died Oct.28 1918 aged 19 years
interred at Etaples, France
They gave their lives that we may live.
Margaret Cameron
mother of the above
and beloved wife of Wm. Leslie
died Oct. 25 1921 aged 56 years
And the above William Leslie
died June 11 1938 aged 72 years.
