On the Thiepval memorial is the name of Captain Percy Douglas Robinson, serving with the Northumberland Fusiliers who died 07/07/1916.

Robbie has provided the following:

Percy Douglas Robinson was born in 1888. He was the son of Richard Atkinson Robinson, born 1855, and Amelia Catherine Robinson, nee Hoad, who was born in 1856 and died in 1910.

He married Ethel Linden Robison, nee Parker, born 1889. They had a son who was born on 25th February 1917. His name was Lance Amigo Percy Barra-Robinson, who went on to become a Flight Lieutenant in the Royal Air Force and was awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross. He died in 2010, having been married in 1940 to Nancy Moira (twin) Blair (born Bowes-Lyon) 1918-1959.
