Note: The headstone gives his date of death as 1916 but the CWGC entry gives 1915.
The CWGC state: "According to our records, when the headstone was last replaced an engraving error occurred where the incorrect year of 1916 appeared on the headstone.Our Records section have therefore requested an amendment to the headstone which will be carried out in due course."
