Drummond, K.M., Capt., M.C., 1918

In Newcastle (Jesmond Old) Cemetery is a headstone which reads:

In
Loving memory of
Hamilton Drummond, M.B., F.R.C.S.E.
Surgeon to the Royal Victoria Infirmary
Major R.A.M.C. (T.A.) Northumberland Hussars
died June 27th 1925
the result of an accident,
in his 43rd year.
And of
Kearsley Mathwin Drummond, M.C.
Capt. 6th Batt. N.F.
killed in the Great War, March 24th 1918
and buried at Rosieres, France.
and of
David Drummond, Kt.,C.B.E., M.D., D.C.L., L.L.B.D., J.P.
father of the above
died April 28th 1932, in his 80th year.

College of Medicine,
Honorary Physician
Royal Victoria Infirmary
for 34 years.
