In Newcastle (Old Jesmond) Cemetery is a headstone which reads:

In
Memory of
Frank Carr,
The Willows, Walker,
died 20th April 1884.
Also of
Jane Carr
wife of the above
died 25th May 1912
Frank Joseph Carr,
their only son died 2nd Nov. 1914.
Hon. Major 5th N.F.

There is no CWGC entry for him.
