Royal Artillery
28th February 1946.

Alexander John Graham was born on 7th March 1912 at Ryton, Co. Durham, the son of William F. and Fanny (nee Sutton). He received his Royal Artillery Attestation in 1940 and served with the 51st H.A.A. Regiment. His father had worked as an “examiner” at the Ordnance Works, Elswick in 1911.

According to the 1939 Register he was living at 30 Pancras Square Buildings, St Pancras, London along with his father, a widower, sharing the house with the Brown family and was working as a “warehouseman – Mail Order”.

He is listed on the Army Roll of Honour, 1939-1945.
