“No.39 Squadron was disbanded on 16 November 1918 at the end of the First World War. It was re-formed on 1 July 1919 at Biggin Hill with D.H.9a aircraft.
There is no information about AC Douglas Young or the circumstances of his death. He may have died of natural causes, illness or as a result of an accident.”
