In Benwell (St.James) Churchyard is the Commonwealth War Grave of with a private headstone of 32925 Driver G.W. Robson serving with the Royal Field Artillery transferred to (496476) 448th Company Southern Command Labour Corps who died 06/11/1918.

The headstone reads:-

G.W. Robson
Royal Field Artillery
6th November 1918 aged 22

Son of Mr. and Mrs. Robson, of 18, Sopwith St., South Benwell, Newcastle-on-Tyne.
