Elizabeth Nicholson
Died June 23rd 1920
Charles Ruddick
Nicholson
Her husband
Died Nov. 5th 1933
And their son
Norman
Who fell in action in France
Aug. 28th 1917.
The Geordie at War Project states:
The War Diary indicates that Battalion were in trenches at Hargicourt when Private Nicholson was killed.
His medal card and other sources seem to indicate that Pte. Nicholson may have deserted and been Court Martialled early in his military service.
