Yorkshire Regiment
7th July 1919 age 45
Gone but not forgotten
The Geordie at War Project states:
“Private Dillon enlisted in Middlesbrough on the 14 June 1906. He was a Regular Soldier when war broke out in 1914. Previously he had been a Merchant Seaman. His records show he was wounded in the right shoulder which might explain how he survived the war.”
