Dearly beloved son
of Rodger and Frances Potter.
“Thy will be done.”

Roger was born 29th June 1908 and lived with his parents at 34 Westmacott Street, Newburn. Prior to enlisting he worked as a labourer with the Water Company.

He was wounded on the 3rd/4th April 1941 and subsequently died from those wounds. His name appears on the Army Roll of Honour, 1939-1945.
