The Blaydon Courier 15/02/1919 reports:"Dow – Newburn, at 2 Newburn Lane, 4th Inst. aged 43 years, Coy.-Sergt.-Major Thomas Henry Dow, N.F., husband of Isabella Dow."

His name does not appear on any local memorial.

There is no CWGC entry for C.S.M. Dow.

Thomas Henry Dow enlisted December 17th 1914. He became Company Sergeant Major 22/1103. He was discharged January 31st 1916 with tuberculous of the lung. He was awarded a Silver War badge 19051 in October 1916.
