In La Chapelle D'Armentieres Communal Cemetery is the Commonwealth War Grave of 1129 Private Clement Mounsey Dennis serving with the Durham Light Infantry who died 25/07/1915.

He resided at 9 Salem Street, South Shields and was employed at Readhead's shipyard. He was in the 1/7th Battalion Durham Light Infantry.

He is remembered at South Shields on S86.019 and S86.129
