Son of Elizabeth Marion Jennings (nee Cocker) and the late Dr. William Munro Jennings (Surgeon) of Jarrow
His younger brother, Eric Kingsley Jennings, also died in the Great War and in buried in Lincoln.
Their younger brother N.P. Jennings died in 1943
