At Halifax (Camp Hill) Cemetery is the Commonwealth War Grave of Able Seaman Ralph Dunn Wright, serving with the Merchant Navy who died 04/04/1941.

Ralph was the eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. James D. Wright, of Grange Road, Jarrow, Co. Durham. He died at the Halifax Hospital, at Nova Scotia, he had taken part in the evacuation of Dunkirk.
