Sidney Watson was the son of John William Watson and Jane Watson, 33 Church Street, Murton.
He was a pupil at Durham Johnston School and became a teacher at Murton Council School.
He enlisted as a Pioneer in the Royal Engineers, Special Coy O2, Regt No 220263.
He died April 10th 1918.
Medals: British War Medal, Victory Medal.
