In Holy Trinity Churchyard is the Commonwealth War Grave with a private headstone of 51134 Private Frederick Lavis serving with the Depot, Royal Army Medical Corps who died 05/04/1918.

The headstone reads:-

In loving memory of
Pte. Frederick Lavis R.A.M.C.
beloved son of
Edward and Rosa Lavis
who died 5th April 1918
aged 23 years

Also Edward Lavis
father of the above
who died 17th May 1928
aged 76 years
