Barningham, D.C., Lieut., 1900
"Veterinary-Lieut. Darnley C. Barningham, M.R.C.V.S., 20th Batt. I.Y. died suddenly of enteric and heart complications in Pretoria, Dec. 7th 1900. He joined the I.Y. in March 1900 as Veterinary officer with the temporary rank of Lieutenant."
