Price, T., Pte., 1915
In Fouquieres Churchyard Extension is the Commonwealth War Grave of 3746 Private Thomas Price serving with the 2nd Battalion (6th Foot) The Royal Warwickshire Regiment who died 26/09/1915.

Thomas Price was born on the 15th January 1879, at Darlington the son of James Frederick Price and Eliza. He was educated at the Farm Street School, Birmingham.

He originally enlisted into the 3rd South Staffordshire Regiment in May 1900. He served throughout the South African War 1900, and left the army in 1902. He was then employed by Messrs' Whitfield, of Oxford Street, Birmingham. Thomas married Sarah Ann (1 Back of 36 Farm Street, Birmingham), daughter of William Cotton, at St Stephen's Church, Birmingham. They had a son Thomas William Frederick who was born 18th June 1900.

After the outbreak of the Great War he enlisted into the Royal Warwickshires and went to France on the 28th December 1914.

Thomas was killed in action at the Battle of Loos on the 26th September 1915 and was buried at Bethune, Pas-de-Calais.
