Fletcher, E., Pte., 1918
In Norton (St. Mary) Churchyard is the Commonwealth War Grave of 2823 Private Edward Fletcher, serving with the Durham Light Infantry who died 22/09/1918.

Rev. David Youngson, states that Pte. Fletcher served with the 5th D.L.I. but transferred to the Labour Corps with the service number of 376944.

Edward Fletcher is remembered in Norton on N68.02 and in Stockton on S138.18a page 20
