The Statutory Deaths Register on the Scotland's People website records that she died at 04.00 at Raigmore Hospital, Inverness, due to appendicitis. She was married to John Thomas Metcalfe Edgar, a Lance Corporal in the Royal Army Service Corps., and their usual residence was 114 Weardale Crescent, Billingham.
Greta May Edgar is not remembered on a local War Memorial.
