On the Singapore Memorial is the name of 922342 Lance Bombardier Raymond Baket Milburn, serving with the Royal Artillery who died 21/09/1944.

The Sunderland Echo & Shields Gazette 24/03/1947 states that he lived at 80 Carley Road, Southwick, and that he died while a prisoner of the Japanese.

He is remembered in Southwick on S130.15 and S130.18 and in Peter Gibson’s book
