The Durham Chronicle 30/5/1919 reports from the Parish magazine:-
Henry Armstrong, aged 19, wounded in France on March 19th, died at the Whitechapel Hospital, London, on September 2nd, 1916. (sic)
Henry Armstrong is remembered at Eppleton on E65.01
