In Wimereux Communal Cemetery is the Commonwealth War Grave of 24709 Lance Corporal Fenwick Squires, serving with the Durham Light Infantry, who died 21/12/1915.

His photograph appears in the Illustrated Chronicle 21/04/1916 of former members of the Church Lad's Brigade. See Parish Notes
