Royal Air Force
14th July 1940 Age 24

the ends of the earth.

P/Off. Carey was with 220 Squadron. He was a crew member of Hudson I N 7231 NR-S based at Thornaby which was on patrol. On the return the aircraft hit a balloon cable and crashed at Boldon Colliery. The aircraft went on fire and the bomb-load exploded.
