On the Singapore Memorial is the name of 1032538 Aircraftman First Class Dennis Priestley, serving with the Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve, who died 09/10/1944.

AC1 Priestley died whilst a Prisoner of War of the Japanese. He was held on Java and the Moluccas, and died at sea near the island of Muna, off Java. He had been serving at R.A.F. Alor Star, Malaya.
