Dowson, S., Dvr., awarded M.M. 1919
Auckland County Chronicle 29/05/1919 reports a concert given by the Ladies Working Party in the Kino Picture Hall, Butterknowle at which ex-driver S. Dowson, R.F.A. was ”presented with a Military Medal won on the field of battle, also a gold albert from the working party as a token of appreciation for services rendered.”
