Cooper, J., Pte., 1940
The Chester-le-Street Chronicle 28/06/1940 reports that Mr. and Mrs. J. Cooper, of 4 Rutland Square, had received official news that their son, Pte. John Cooper, had been missing since May 31st, 1940. He was last seen at Warlecs, Belgium.

He was 20 years of age and had been in the Territorial Army for 2 years. He was formerly employed at the Kibblesworth Colliery.

There is no CWGC entry for Private Cooper.
