J. Glendinning (possibly Joseph), service number 91718, is listed in the diary of Gunner L.H. Wray, a copy of which is lodged with the Bovington Tank Museum, ref. No. D56.

It gives Pte. Glendinning's address as Beech Grove Terrace, Blackhouse, Edmondsley, County Durham.

He served in Tank No. 27E, under 2/Lt William Stobo HAINING, with Corporal Goodwin, Gunner Wray, Edgar, Elliot, Lance Corporal Cameron and Pte. John Marr, M.M.

Also in Supply Tank and Tank No. 2821 "Ella" crewed by 2/Lt William Stobo HAINING, Goodwin, Wray, Edgar, and Pte. Marr
