Royal Air Force
7th July 1941 age 21

P/O Graney was serving with 10 O.T.U. He was a crew member of Whitley V Z6476 which took off from Abingdon on a night training exercise in moonlight navigation. The aircraft strayed from track and hit a barrage balloon cable near Stratford on Avon. All the crew died.
