George Frost

On Portsmouth Naval Memorial, Hampshire is the name of P/KX 99133 Stoker 2nd Class George Frost serving with the Royal Navy on H.M.S. Acasta who died 08/06/1940.

Son of Robert William and Ethel Jane Frost, of Perkinsville, Co. Durham.

The Newcastle Evening Chronicle 25/10/1941 reports:-

Mr. and Mrs. Frost, of 9. Park View. Perkinsville. have received official news from the Admiralty that their son. George Frost, a stoker, was killed in action. Frost was previously reported missing.

George Frost is remembered at Chester-le-Street on C105.39 and at Pelton on P26.04 and P26.10
