Hague, J., Pte., 1915
In Bailleul Communal Cemetry Extension, Nord is the Commonwealth War Grave of 10890 Private James Hague, serving with the 2nd Battalion Durham Light Infantry who died 12/06/1915.

James Hague was born at Newcastle on the 4th June 1884, the son of the late George W. Hague, of Newcastle, and his wife Katie.

James was educated at Gateshead and was a miner, he already served six years before re-enlisting 3rd October 1914.

He married at Mount Pleasant, Gateshead, on the 4th June 1904, Jane (21 Derwent View, Rowlands Gill), daughter of the late John and Isabella Holmes, and resided at 10, Brown Street, High Field, Rowlands Gill, and they had five children. John born 8th February 1907, Katie born 2nd October 1905, Florence born 29th July 1909, Maud born 18th September 1912 and Jenny Armentieres, born 4th June 1915.
