Royal Air Force
25th November 1940 Age 23

Son of Thomas and Frances Waugh, of Windsor, Ontario, Canada.

Newcastle Evening Chronicle 29/11/1940 reports:-

Flying Officer Missing

Mr. and Mrs. J. Waugh, of Glebe Cottages, Woodside, Rvton, have been notified that their grandson. Flying-Officer Stanley Waugh, R.A.F., is missing from November 25. He came from Canada two years ago to join the R.A.F.. and he left Woodside on his last leave to join his squadron'on November 17. His father, formerly of Woodside, died in Canada about eight years ago.

Stanley Alfred Waugh is not remembered on a local War Memorial.
