Son of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas W. Wilson, of Greenside.

The headstone reads:-

In loving memory of
Sgt. Roland W/OP. A/G. R.A.F.
Beloved son of
Thomas & Isabella Wilson
Greenside
Killed on Active Service
June 4th 1940 aged 20 years

Roland Wilson is remembered at Greenside on G42.02 and at Ryton on R33.01 and in a RAF Book of Remembrance as Wilson, K.
